About the Role
We are looking for a hands‑on Remanufacturing Engineer to support process development and continuous improvement in the remanufacture of automotive components. You’ll lead engineering activities from teardown analysis and tooling design to workflow optimisation, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead teardown analysis and define remanufacturing processes for new products.
- Provide engineering support for production issues and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain tooling, equipment, and standard operating procedures.
- Support New Product Introduction activities through to PPAP and tooling handover.
- Drive process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Manage documentation, equipment procurement, and capital expenditure for assigned projects.
Skills & Experience
- HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven manufacturing and product engineering experience.
- Strong hands‑on approach with practical problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and modern manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and process improvement techniques.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and quality management systems.
