A leading defence organisation is seeking an experienced Programmes & Contracts Manager to manage a portfolio of high-value service contracts supporting major UK defence programmes.
Direct experience operating within the SSRO (Single Source Regulatory Office) framework is essential. Applications without SSRO experience cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multi-million-pound service contracts with full P&L accountability.
- Ensure compliance with SSRO regulations, including pricing, reporting and allowable costs.
- Lead contract delivery across MRO, engineering support and upgrade programmes.
- Drive financial performance, forecasting, risk management and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary customer interface, building strong relationships with MoD stakeholders and key partners.
- Support contract renewals, bids and business growth activities.
- Proven SSRO experience within a defence environment.
- Track record managing high-value MoD contracts.
- Strong commercial, financial and contract management expertise.
- Experience in programme management, MRO or in-service support.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
