A great opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing manufacturing business who are currently recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly and high-performing Customer Service team. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships while managing a varied workload. You will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders, enquiries and issues are handled efficiently and professionally.

The role

  • Review and process customer orders ensuring they are processed within agreed timescales
  • Provide prices, lead time, delivery and stock availability information
  • Act as the interface between customers and internal teams including Planning, Procurement and Finance
  • Resolve customer complaints and credit queries effectively
  • Maintain accurate customer records and provide proactive customer support
  • Work closely with sales teams to keep them informed of customer activity and changes

About you

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially aware with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Manufacturing experience desirable
  • Knowledge of another language - desirable
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office / Excel
  • Able to commit to a full time, office-based role with a realistic daily commute

Working hours

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Package:

  • 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
