A great opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing manufacturing business who are currently recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly and high-performing Customer Service team. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships while managing a varied workload. You will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders, enquiries and issues are handled efficiently and professionally.
The role
- Review and process customer orders ensuring they are processed within agreed timescales
- Provide prices, lead time, delivery and stock availability information
- Act as the interface between customers and internal teams including Planning, Procurement and Finance
- Resolve customer complaints and credit queries effectively
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide proactive customer support
- Work closely with sales teams to keep them informed of customer activity and changes
About you
- Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Manufacturing experience desirable
- Knowledge of another language - desirable
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office / Excel
- Able to commit to a full time, office-based role with a realistic daily commute
Working hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Package:
- 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
