You will combine on-the-ground leadership with strategic influence, shaping safety, quality, and environmental standards across multiple projects, teams, and subsidiaries, while directly implementing and improving HSEQ systems in the field.
The organisation is committed to digital-first operational processes, embedding best-in-class HSEQ standards across multiple sites and subsidiaries, and actively pursuing initiatives in Environment, Social, and Governance.

- Create SOPs and operational guidance for all activities, delivered across remote offices and live customer sites.
- Train, coach, and mentor employees and contractors to embed HSEQ excellence into day-to-day operations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing practical insight into operational risks, opportunities, and compliance performance.
- Support new business activities, ensuring HSEQ compliance is embedded in proposals, bids, and operational planning.
- Integrate management systems across multiple subsidiaries, balancing standardisation with operational flexibility.
You are a hands-on HSEQ professional with field experience in installations, engineering services, or construction projects, with the ability to operate at senior management level while remaining operationally engaged. You will bring:
- Proven HSEQ leadership experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or High Voltage engineering services.
- Practical knowledge of UK health & safety, environmental, and quality legislation and standards.
- Direct experience deploying digital management systems for HSEQ compliance across multi-site organisations.
- Hands-on experience working with installation teams, engineers, contractors, and multiple subsidiary operations.
- The ability to train, mentor, and influence employees at all levels, embedding a culture of HSEQ excellence.
- Strong project management, planning, and delivery skills across complex, multi-site operations.
- Specialist qualifications in Safety Management and Leadership, NEBOSH/IOSH, and ISO Lead Auditor certification.
- Full UK driving license, with willingness to travel to projects nationwide.
Desirable: Experience with digital HSEQ platforms, ERP integration, and supporting ESG or sustainability initiatives.
