The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hybrid Applications / Technical Sales Engineering role, where you will act as the link between customers, sales and engineering teams. You will be:
- Supporting customers with technical enquiries and product selection
- Producing quotes and proposals for a range of engineering solutions
- Working on projects ranging from standard products to bespoke engineered systems
- Collaborating with internal engineering teams to develop tailored solutions
- Building your commercial awareness in a consultative, customer-facing environment
This role offers a unique blend of hands-on engineering knowledge and commercial exposure, ideal for someone looking to broaden their career beyond pure design or manufacturing.
About You
- Qualified in a Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar technical discipline
- 1–2+ years’ experience in an engineering environment (placement year considered)
- Strong interest in how engineering solutions are applied in real-world scenarios
- Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Keen to learn and develop within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Experience or interest in motion control, automation or mechanical systems would be advantageous but not essential.
