Senior Buyer - 6-Month Contract -Hybrid Are you an experienced Senior Buyer with a strong manufacturing background and a hands-on approach to procurement? Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their established procurement team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity for an experienced buyer to take ownership of purchasing activity, supplier performance and commercial delivery within a complex manufacturing environment. Managing day-to-day purchasing and purchase orders. Obtaining quotations and negotiating pricing and commercial terms. Building strong supplier relationships and addressing cost, quality and delivery issues. Working closely with production, engineering, quality and planning to ensure continuity of supply. Identifying and resolving supply chain risks and purchasing issues. Experience managing orders, lead times and delivery performance. Aerospace, automotive, defence or other regulated manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
