I am currently recruiting a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing business in Bradford, operating in the print and packaging sector.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
- Diagnose faults and implement effective engineering solutions
- Maintain and improve high-speed production and packaging equipment
- Monitor machine performance and proactively address issues
- Work on a range of electro-mechanical systems including PLCs, controls and pneumatics
- Accurately record maintenance activity, downtime and parts usage
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards
- Equipment includes; Litho & digital presses, high speed printing machinery, cut & crease, gluing and finishing machines
About You
- Apprentice trained or time-served engineer
- Multi-skilled (mechanical & electrical)
- Experience of maintenance in manufacturing environment (print/packaging desirable)
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work autonomously
