We are seeking a skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team & helping to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery and the wider facility. This includes maintaining machine competency, meeting product quality standards, and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements. The ideal candidate will have the ability to promote teamwork, skill development and process stability while addressing technical issues promptly. Whilst also having the drive to self-improve and grow skillset in line with the company growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Compliance: Always follow Safe Systems of Work and HSE guidelines.
- Quality Standards: Work within ISO requirements.
- Collaboration: Foster teamwork and mentor colleagues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machinery inefficiencies independently or with support.
- Technical Support: Assist production staff with engineering issues.
- Knowledge Sharing: Pass on expertise and embrace new working methods.
- Maintenance Oversight: Assess machinery efficiency and confirm resolution timelines.
- Meetings: Attend production meetings as required.
- Machine Utilisation: Ensure optimal performance and communicate issues promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 or other relevant engineering qualification.
- Basic Electrical & Mechanical Engineering skills.
- At least 2 years in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HSE, quality assurance, environmental standards, and maintenance management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
