We are partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business seeking a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join its growing supply chain team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of material availability, supplier coordination, inventory control, and purchasing operations – helping to keep production moving without interruption while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage material planning, purchasing, and inventory control
  • Execute MRP activities and maintain accurate SAP data
  • Raise and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time supply
  • Monitor stock levels, investigate variances, and support stock accuracy
  • Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and suppliers
  • Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, purchasing, or supply chain gained within manufacturing
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Supplier management and inventory control experience
