We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and continuously improve manufacturing operations within a fast‑paced production environment. The role is responsible for manufacturing standards, process operations, industrialisation activities, and process optimisation. This position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver best‑in‑class manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing & Process Engineering
    • Support the development and implementation of a world‑class production facility serving global customers.
    • Optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
    • Identify and control all critical‑to‑quality aspects of manufacturing processes.
    • Develop and maintain a strategy for manufacturing equipment in collaboration with maintenance teams.
    • Identify, justify, and implement equipment upgrades and modifications to improve productivity and quality.
    • Support the justification and implementation of capital investment projects.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Support process optimisation initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and scrap reduction.
    • Participate in cross‑functional Six Sigma projects and implement robust, data‑driven solutions to manufacturing challenges.
    • Maintain relationships with OEMs to stay informed of new manufacturing technologies and best practices.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Effectively manage non‑conforming products, ensuring containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
    • Ensure all manufacturing documentation is accurate, current, and compliant.
    • Promote and maintain safe working practices at all times.
  • New Product Introduction
    • Support New Product Development and industrialisation programs, ensuring smooth transition into manufacturing.

Education & Training

Relevant Engineering Qualification

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in fast‑paced environments with challenging deadlines.
