An established and growing operator within the bulk liquid storage and terminal sector is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join its engineering team. Based primarily at a terminal in Hull, this role also offers the opportunity to work across multiple UK sites, supporting high-integrity operations in hazardous environments.

The RoleYou will be responsible for the safe installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical systems within industrial bulk liquid storage facilities. Working in ATEX-rated and safety-critical environments, you will play a key role in keeping terminal operations running safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:- Electrical installation, fault-finding, inspection and repair on industrial plant and equipment
- Working within hazardous areas in line with ATEX regulations
- Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and specifications
- Operating under permit-to-work and isolation procedures
- Supporting compliance, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
- Travelling to other terminals as required to support business needs
- Proven experience working on industrial sites (bulk liquid storage, tank farms, petrochemical or similar environments strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of ATEX, permits to work and safe systems
- Ability to carry out work independently and assess electrical risks
- Confident reading and working from electrical drawings
- A safety-first mindset with high standards of workmanship
- Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- C&G 2391 / 2394 or equivalent inspection & testing qualification
- CompEx (or equivalent hazardous area certification)
