An established and growing operator within the bulk liquid storage and terminal sector is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join its engineering team. Based primarily at a terminal in Hull, this role also offers the opportunity to work across multiple UK sites, supporting high-integrity operations in hazardous environments.

The Role
You will be responsible for the safe installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical systems within industrial bulk liquid storage facilities. Working in ATEX-rated and safety-critical environments, you will play a key role in keeping terminal operations running safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical installation, fault-finding, inspection and repair on industrial plant and equipment
- Working within hazardous areas in line with ATEX regulations
- Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and specifications
- Operating under permit-to-work and isolation procedures
- Supporting compliance, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
- Travelling to other terminals as required to support business needs
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience working on industrial sites (bulk liquid storage, tank farms, petrochemical or similar environments strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of ATEX, permits to work and safe systems
- Ability to carry out work independently and assess electrical risks
- Confident reading and working from electrical drawings
- A safety-first mindset with high standards of workmanship
Qualifications:
- Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- C&G 2391 / 2394 or equivalent inspection & testing qualification
- CompEx (or equivalent hazardous area certification)
