The Role

We’re looking for a site-based Maintenance Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working with precision machinery. You’ll be responsible for keeping high-value CNC equipment running at peak performance by carrying out:

  • Delivering all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Installing, servicing, and repairing 5-axis machine tools.
  • Fault-finding and diagnosing issues on CNC milling machines, delivering effective corrective solutions.
  • Interrogating PLC programs using Siemens S7.
  • Working autonomously while communicating effectively with the wider team.

This is a role where you’ll own your work, take pride in solving problems, and be trusted to apply your engineering judgement.

About You

  • A time-served engineer or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
  • Confident and experienced in troubleshooting 5-axis CNC milling machines independently.
  • Skilled in both verbal and written communication.
  • Familiar with Siemens 840D CNC control systems.
