Sales Manager – Exhibitions

Lead sales growth across a fast‑expanding international events portfolio

Full‑time (37.5 hours), Office‑based
Location: Borough, SE1

About the Role

A fast‑growing B2B events and media organisation is looking for an experienced Sales Manager – Exhibitions to drive commercial performance across a portfolio of international trade shows, exhibitions and sponsorship products.

You’ll take ownership of high‑value revenue targets, lead key account relationships, and shape sales strategy across multiple large‑scale B2B events. This is a hands‑on, senior role for someone who understands exhibition sales mechanics and knows how to deliver year‑on‑year growth.

If you’re confident closing big deals, mentoring junior sales talent and driving commercial strategy, this role offers the platform to make a real impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and exceed revenue targets across multiple exhibitions
Own sales strategy for assigned shows, working closely with senior leadership
Lead pitch preparation, proposal development and key account negotiations
Build long‑term client relationships and secure strategic partnerships
Develop insight‑driven commercial packages tailored to client objectives
Contribute to pricing strategy and exhibition floorplan optimisation
Mentor Account Managers and support best practice in pipeline management, rebooking and CRM usage
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across the wider events portfolio
Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and CRM discipline
 

About You

5–7 years’ experience in exhibition sales, event sales, expo sales or B2B sponsorship sales
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
Strong commercial instincts and confident negotiation skills
Comfortable closing large deals and managing key accounts
Strategic thinker with a performance‑driven mindset
Deep understanding of the B2B event cycle and exhibition sales process
Highly proficient in CRM systems, Excel and sales reporting
