Our client is an innovative advancing Biotech, with ongoing developments in studies that are aimed at transforming treatments of relative Neurological disorders. As part of ongoing progression, they seek an experienced Senior Manager - Commercial & Market Access, with proven experience working on the US Market for a combination of unmet need indications. Experience aligned in Neurological conditions and/or CNS and Psychiatry relative would be highly beneficial but is certainly not essential.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an evolving and innovative Biotech group, working closely with the direct report, Director of Commercial & Market Access. Combined with their support, you will take a lead on associated tasks for onward Commercial and Market Access strategies – With a high focus initially on US business progression elements.
The ideal candidate will have an autonomous and collaborative style of working and a high performing success driven attitude to ‘making things happen’. You will be self-motivated to take the lead as needed and drive direction for the associated tasks.
Key Experience and relative aligns required:- 5+ Years direct experience in either Biotech or Healthcare/Life Sciences Consultancy.
- Detailed experience in supporting both Commercial and Market Access and associated teams in developing pipeline assets from Phase 2b and onward to commercialisation.
- Proven abilities in taking the self-lead and ownership of assigned projects as required.
- Direct experience of working with the US market – Hands on lead and management of projects for North America/USA is a primary requirement.
- Combined experience in managing primarily, US and ideally additional EU developments including aligned activities for: Market Access, Pricing strategy and reimbursement Model development and validation.
- Relative exposure supporting research, analyses and stakeholder engagement.
- Developing and executing Health Economics and Outcomes Research strategies.
- Revenue forecasts – Utilising ongoing emerging data and value insights.
- Collaborative experience working with associated Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Clinical team to ensure ongoing successful developments and engagement activities aligning to the company missions and value story – Supporting successful market access and commercialisation for the target markets in primarily North America and Europe.
- Ongoing development, in collaboration with the Director of Commercial & Market Access in evolving the company product value story - Integrating data and both internal and external insights to ascertain the optimum value proposition and support information for payers, providers, patients and investors.
The position has the advantage of being operational on a remote basis, with ideally travel once monthly to the EU HQ for meetings and connectivity with the wider company team members on site.
Qualifications & broader skills desired:- Resident and eligible to work in either: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Ireland (Or potentially) – Spain and Italy.
- Aligned degree in - Healthcare, market access, health economics or Life Sciences. Such as: PhD, PharmD, MBA.
- 5+ Years direct experience in Biotech or Healthcare/Life Sciences Consultancy - supporting Commercial and Market Access.
- Direct experience in working on Phase 2b development onward to commercialisation.
- Experience working with associated healthcare systems and payer structures in the USA.
- Experience in leading market research and analysis initiatives – Ideally for US Projects and wider EU.
- Experience in developing evidence-based assumptions to shape future revenue forecasts.
- An entrepreneurial, self-leading and business-oriented mindset.
- Direct experience either industry or research combination relative in either: Neurology, CNS, Depression or Psychiatric disorders – Advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience working in developing and growth organisations – Preferable. Ideally working in either/or a combination of: Healthcare/Life Sciences Consultancy, Biotech.
