Morgan Philips is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic client in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with exceptional account management skills and a proven track record in fostering client relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve business goals and drive customer success.
  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion of existing accounts and lead initiatives to develop new business prospects within the sector.
  • Project Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery meets client expectations and company standards.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, market developments, and sales performance metrics to share with senior management.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role within the oil and gas sector, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of the industry, including market dynamics, trends, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and market intelligence to make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

Additional Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the oil and gas industry.
