We’re partnering with a well‑known organisation in Buckinghamshire to appoint a Head of HR Services on an 18-24‑month fixed‑term contract (strong potential for permanent). This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a pivotal point in its transformation journey as it modernises its HR operating model and implements SAP SuccessFactors.
As Head of HR Services, you will lead the delivery of high‑quality HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, while also overseeing the Reward function. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines day‑to‑day operational excellence with the opportunity to shape and deliver a number of strategic HR projects.
The RoleIn this role, you will:
- Lead and develop the HR Services team, ensuring an excellent experience across onboarding, lifecycle changes, offboarding and all employee administration.
- Oversee a Reward team, ensuring alignment, accuracy and consistency in process, governance and employee experience.
- Play a key role in the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors, acting as a business lead, ensuring readiness, adoption and change management across HR and the wider organisation.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems and service delivery.
- Work closely with HR leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to support a variety of HR projects and operational enhancements.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy and strong controls across all HR service areas.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience leading HR Operations / HR Shared Services, including full employee lifecycle delivery.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing multi‑discipline HR teams (e.g. HR Services, Reward, Learning).
- Demonstrable experience driving HR systems improvement — exposure to SAP SuccessFactors is highly advantageous.
- A solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity and change.
- Confidence managing stakeholders, influencing across HR and the wider business.
- A passion for improving service delivery, operational efficiency and employee experience.
