Morgan Philips is seeking an experienced Head of Learning & Development for a Luxury Hospitality brand based in London (hybrid 3 days per week in the office). This is a pivotal role as the business undergoes a significant period of exciting change and the role will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning strategies that drive business performance, leadership excellence, and employee growth across a dynamic, customer‐focused business.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Head of People, will manage a small team and has responsibility for shaping capability, strengthening culture, and embedding a world‐class learning experience across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a company‐wide L&D strategy aligned to business goals and people priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify capability needs and deliver high‐impact leadership and management programmes.
- Create development pathways for aspiring leaders and embed coaching and mentoring across the business.
- Oversee induction, compliance training, and optimise the Apprenticeship Levy to maximise ROI.
- Champion modern, blended learning approaches and oversee learning technologies and digital platforms.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‐performing L&D team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets and external learning partnerships, using data and insights to measure effectiveness.
- Proven experience leading L&D at a senior level, ideally within a multi‐site, customer‐focused, luxury environment.
- Strong track record in leadership development, induction, compliance training, and apprenticeships.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Data‐driven mindset with experience measuring impact and ROI of learning initiatives.
- Knowledge of learning technologies and modern L&D practices.
