Some HR roles involve supporting a single business, working within established processes and handling the same issues day after day.

This isn't one of them.

I'm working with a growing HR consultancy that's helping ambitious organisations tackle everything from complex employee relations challenges and organisational change through to culture, engagement and people strategy.

As part of a close-knit team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of clients, industries and people challenges, giving you the opportunity to accelerate your development far beyond what many traditional HR Advisor roles can offer.

This a fantastic opportunity for and experienced HR Advisor to broaden your exposure, build your commercial awareness and develop into a trusted HR professional.

Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office.

What makes this role different?

  • Exposure to multiple businesses, sectors and leadership teams.
  • A genuine mix of operational and project-based HR work.
  • Opportunities to get involved in organisational change, engagement and people initiatives.
  • The chance to build your commercial understanding and business partnering skills.
  • A supportive environment where learning and development are actively encouraged.

You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals, supporting organisations with a wide range of people matters including:

  • Employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and redundancy processes.
  • Employment law guidance and best practice advice.
  • HR documentation including contracts, policies, handbooks and employee communications.
  • Recruitment and onboarding activity.
  • HR administration, compliance and record management.
  • Employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Organisational change and people projects.
  • Building trusted relationships with managers and stakeholders.

You'll likely have:

  • Previous HR experience, either at Advisor level or in a senior HR administration/coordinator role.
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR processes.
  • CIPD qualification, or be working towards it.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Confidence building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A genuine desire to learn, develop and broaden your HR experience.

Why consider it?

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, wants exposure to a wider range of HR challenges and is looking to develop their career in an environment where they'll learn quickly and make a visible impact.

If you're looking for a role that will stretch you, develop you and give you access to experiences that aren't always available in a traditional in-house HR team, I'd love to hear from you.
