I am currently representing a public sector organisation who are seeking a Clerk of Works to join the team on a contract basis.
My client is one of Scotland\’s largest local authorities with healthy long term capital programs both within housing, education and community facilities.
They have an ambitious housing regeneration project which includes new build and re-modernisation of housing and flatted developments over a 20-year period.
Working on high volume housing refurbishment programmes, you will be required to provide a quality monitoring service covering all projects from inception to completion.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Inspection of works in progress
- Auditing and reporting on quality management procedures
- Client and contractor meetings
- Preparation of weekly progress reports
- Ensuring Contractors are compliant with Health & Safety
Individuals who apply for the role should be suitably qualified and show previous experience monitoring and reporting on similar projects.
You must hold a clean driving licence and be IT literate.
This role falls within IR35
