Morgan Philips is seeking a highly motivated and data driven Aviation Analyst to join a great client in Woking - office based 4 days per week. This role is pivotal in driving strategic expansion and enhancing existing market presence. Your expertise in leveraging data analysis, digital tools, and market research will be essential in informing business decisions and driving growth.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Business Development: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis. Focus on emerging markets, large-scale imports, and strategic partnerships. Evaluate potential acquisitions and develop robust business cases.
- Strategic Planning & Performance Management: Support the development of annual budgets and long-term strategic plans (5-year plans) by providing analytical support to various global departments. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate timely, accurate management reports using modern data visualization tools.
- Project Support & Collaboration: Provide project management support for company-wide improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- International Collaboration: Work effectively within a diverse, international environment, managing communications and relationships with global partners, customers, and suppliers.
Activities and Outputs:
- Development and presentation of compelling business cases and market entry strategies.
- Preparation of performance management reports, financial analyses, and strategic planning documents.
- Management of all necessary documentation and licensing required for new market entry.
- Contribution to cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Involves monthly travel (pre-planned and day trips only) across European sites and collaboration. Suitable candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Proven experience in market analysis, or a similar role within the aviation, energy or IT industry. You will also have strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI), excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders. Willingness to travel as needed is important and fluency in another European language would be a bonus.
