Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of a Microsoft Fabric / Power BI data platform, ensuring scope, timelines, budget and quality are controlled through to completion.
- Manage delivery of the end-to-end reporting pipeline from Salesforce into the Fabric-based data platform (ingestion, modelling/semantic layer alignment, refresh and reporting readiness).
- Manage a CRM (e.g., Zoho) to Salesforce data migration including data mapping, cleansing, migration planning, cutover approach, reconciliation and business sign-off.
- Drive project structure, governance, RAID, decision logs and clear reporting (Programme/working groups), ensuring escalation routes are effective.
- Build and manage detailed integrated plans, schedules, dependencies and critical milestones across internal teams and third-party partners (Confidence using Microsoft Azure DevOps Boards a bonus).
- Navigate complex stakeholder groups, align technical and business priorities, and influence outcomes to maintain pace and delivery focus.
- Oversee service readiness and transition to BAU, including operational handover, support model, runbooks and knowledge transfer.
Skills and Experience (Priority Order)
- Extensive experience delivering data and analytics programmes/projects (data platforms, BI/reporting, integration and migration).
- Strong technical project management capability: able to plan and govern data-heavy workstreams and manage delivery across specialists/suppliers.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI delivery (or Azure Data & Analytics with strong Fabric exposure).
- Experience delivering data ingestion/integration from SaaS platforms (ideally Salesforce) into a modern data platform, including orchestration and refresh management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures and reporting requirements; experience managing Salesforce-related data pipelines is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience leading CRM (e.g., Zoho) to Salesforce data migrations, including cutover planning and data reconciliation/validation.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience, including complex and senior stakeholder interactions; strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Strong risk/issue/dependency management with clear escalation and change control practices.
- Degree or equivalent; professional qualification advantageous (PRINCE2/AgilePM and/or strong Agile delivery experience).
- Financial/corporate reporting experience is advantageous (nice to have rather than essential).
