Service Now Platform Owner to lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of Service Now platforms across multiple client environments.
This is a senior leadership role focused on driving platform value, shaping roadmap decisions, and ensuring Service Now capabilities align with business objectives and transformation programmes.
The is not a technical role, the individual with typically work as a conduit between the customer and the teams that support and manage the platform, they would also make sure the correct process and governance are followed.
Ideally the candidate would be engagement/project managers or senior business analyst or process architects.
What You'll Do
- Own the Service Now platform strategy, roadmap, and governance.
- Drive platform adoption, optimisation, and value realisation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Lead cross-functional teams across architecture, development, support, and service delivery.
- Manage platform performance, continual improvement, risk, and compliance.
- Oversee demand management, prioritisation, and investment decisions.
- Support commercial growth opportunities and client success.
- What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Service Now Platform Owner, Product Owner, Service Owner, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Service Now capabilities, including
ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and HRSD .
- Experience managing complex multi-instance or multi-client environments.
- Expertise in platform governance, operating models, and service improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing at executive level.
- Understanding of risk, compliance, and governance within enterprise environments.
- Eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance.
Desirable
- Service Now certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD).
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
- Experience within Financial Services, Public Sector, Defence, or other regulated industries.
- Experience leading major Service Now transformation programmes.
