We are looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join a reputable care organisation. This role is suited to someone with strong sector knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the confidence to oversee a busy care service. You will take responsibility for ensuring high standards of care, supporting staff, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external partners. The successful candidate will be confident, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Please note: This is not a Registered Manager position, but previous experience in a care management role is essential.
Key Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care service
- Provide support and guidance to both staff and clients
- Manage the on-call duty rota on alternate weeks
- Deliver hands-on care when required
- Maintain compliance and support a strong CQC rating
- Work with both private clients and council-funded services
- Contribute to the growth and development of the service
- Build strong working relationships with clients, families, and external professionals
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Care Manager or senior care role within the sector
- Confident and professional approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Clear Enhanced DBS
- Experience working with private clients as well as council contracts
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support staff
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
