Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Solihull, currently looking to welcome an experienced Tax Senior to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in personal tax who enjoys building client relationships and is looking for a varied role with both compliance and advisory responsibilities.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients while supporting on a variety of tax-related projects and advisory work. The client base is diverse and includes business owners, landlords, directors, and high-net-worth individuals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Completing and submitting P11Ds
- Assisting with Making Tax Digital (MTD) reporting
- Preparing Capital Gains Tax computations and returns
- Liaising with clients to gather information and answer queries
- Communicating with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Supporting with advisory projects, disclosures, and trust/estate-related work
- Keeping up to date with current tax legislation and compliance requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a tax-focused role and be confident managing their own workload and client portfolio.
