Job Title: Supported Employability Assistant Duration: Permanent ** Until March 2028** Salary - £30,000 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday 36.5 hours Location: Birmingham – B33 We are recruiting for a Supported Employability Assistant to deliver a Supported Employment programme for inactive and unemployed residents within targeted areas East of Birmingham. Working on a life-changing Government-backed programme helping 18–25-year-old unemployed individuals gain employment. This role will include employer liaison, vacancy generation, employment profiling, job matching and job carving. You will engage with beneficiaries and employers and work with them on a one-to-one basis to deliver the supported Employment Service. Duties: To target the recruitment of eligible clients and employers Provide 1 to 1 support for beneficiaries and businesses to achieve employment targets assessment, action planning, milestones, and target setting. Develop links with further learning providers to establish pathways for clients into enhanced learning that will support both entry into and retention in employment.
