Tax Manager

A well-established and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Harrow is looking for a Tax Manager to join their growing team. Whether you\’re an experienced manager seeking a fresh challenge or a high-performing Assistant Manager ready to step up, this role offers a clear path for progression and greater strategic involvement.

Your responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery of corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory services across a varied portfolio.
• Review and sign off on tax returns prepared by junior team members.
• Manage a team of 5, including workflow delegation, appraisals, and team development.
• Collaborate with Directors on high-value, complex advisory projects for both new and long-standing clients.
• Drive continuous improvement in internal procedures and compliance processes.
• Work closely with the finance team on WIP, billing, and budget management.

About you:

• ATT or ACCA qualified and/or studying towards CTA.
• Proven experience managing both people and processes within a tax environment.
• Confident delivering clear and commercially sound tax advice to clients.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop staff effectively.
• Familiarity with CCH is desirable, but not essential.
