An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance professional to join a large, forward-thinking organisation in a newly created Strategic Project Finance Manager role. This position sits within a high-performing FP&A function and offers the chance to work on major strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and investment projects that directly influence business performance and long-term growth.
Working closely with senior finance leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll provide financial insight, challenge and decision support for a diverse portfolio of strategic projects.
The Role
- Supporting financial planning, forecasting and budgeting for strategic projects and investment programmes.
- Developing and maintaining detailed financial models to support business cases, investment appraisals and strategic decision-making.
- Analysing project costs, financial performance, benefits realisation and associated risks.
- Producing insightful management reporting, dashboards and performance commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Partnering with project managers, operational leaders and executives to ensure financial assumptions are robust and commercially sound.
- Providing financial support on tenders, commercial opportunities and service transformation initiatives.
- Monitoring project governance.
