I am currently partnering with an incredible, globally scaling technology company to find a talented DevOps Engineer to join their high-performing Customer Platforms team. My client is a major player in the global health and molecular analysis space (operating in over 100 countries!), and they are looking for someone to help automate, scale, and secure the infrastructure behind their business-critical and customer-facing platforms. If you love Infrastructure-as-Code, mature observability, and building bulletproof CI/CD pipelines, this one is for you.
The Tech Stack:
- IaC: Terraform
- Cloud: AWS (ECS, CloudFront, Lambdas, EventBridge, SQS)
- CI/CD: GitLab CI
- Observability: OpenTelemetry & Grafana
The Role:
- Scale Infrastructure: Design and implement modern features via Terraform and AWS.
- Drive DevSecOps: Embed automated security testing and maintain hybrid cloud governance.
- Optimise Delivery: Own and improve testing and deployment processes in GitLab CI to help the engineering team deploy rapidly and confidently.
- Enhance Observability: Conduct root-cause analysis and mature their OpenTelemetry/Grafana ecosystem.
What They Are Looking For:
- Proven experience with Terraform and core AWS services.
- Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on knowledge of modern observability frameworks (like OpenTelemetry).
Nice-to-haves:
