We’re looking for a Senior Production Engineer to join our growing team in Oxford. This is a full-time, onsite role where you will play a key part in the technical leadership of our advanced semiconductor wafer production processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide hands-on technical support for all escalated engineering issues in semiconductor wafer production
  • Lead the introduction of new process equipment and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with internal development teams and suppliers on tooling and design changes
  • Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with EH&S regulations (including PUWER and CE marking)
  • Oversee equipment commissioning (IQ/OQ/PQ), FAT/SAT testing, and process validation
  • Champion process excellence using tools such as Lean and Six Sigma

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience with semiconductor/MEMS wafer manufacturing, including photolithography and plasma etching
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining high-spec equipment, managing vendor service schedules, and rapid fault identification
  • Experience working in regulated industries with Quality Control and validation systems
  • Familiarity with technical documentation such as specifications, work instructions, and validation reports

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Minitab, SolidWorks, and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
