We’re looking for an experienced Senior Brand PR & Communications Manager to join a much-loved, legacy heritage brand as it embarks on an exciting new chapter. This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in modernising the voice of a respected British institution, helping it stay relevant for today while remaining true to its proud history.
About the Opportunity
This isn’t a routine PR role. Our client is going through a significant brand transformation and needs someone with creativity, confidence and strategic flair to help lead the way. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering a fresh, bold PR and communications strategy that builds advocacy, strengthens reputation and connects with both loyal supporters and new audiences. It’s a role for someone who can think big, act fast and bring people with them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the PR and communications strategy to support the launch of a major rebrand
- Creating compelling campaigns that tell a consistent, engaging brand story
- Driving proactive media relations and generating high-profile coverage across national and specialist outlets
- Developing thought leadership programmes that position senior leaders as trusted voices
- Managing PR activity around flagship events, including media planning and on-site press operations
- Working closely with digital and marketing teams to deliver truly integrated, multi-channel campaigns
- Building relationships with influencers, partners and agencies to amplify reach
- Protecting brand reputation through proactive and, when needed, reactive communications
- Measuring and reporting on results to show real impact and value
What We’re Looking For
This role would suit a seasoned communications professional who understands how to balance heritage with modern relevance. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in PR, media relations and strategic communications
- Experience working with well-established or heritage brands, particularly through periods of change
- A strong track record of delivering creative, integrated PR campaigns
- Excellent writing skills and a genuine passion for storytelling
- Confidence developing thought leadership content and securing speaking opportunities
- Great media contacts and the ability to generate standout coverage
- Experience collaborating with digital teams and managing external agencies
- A practical, results-focused approach with strong reporting and analytical skills
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or PR is preferred.
