Reward Manager

Salary up to 55k plus annual bonus and excellent benefits

Location: Can be located anywhere around South West/East Anglia

This is a new role for the business and whilst there is a HR team, the Reward role is going to be autonomous and will have a global responsibility. You will take the leading role in designing, implementing and managing competitive and equitable reward and benefits programs.

Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the strategic and day-to-day reward management practices such as implementing reward strategies and projects, managing pensions and benefits schemes, and leading the annual reward reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the People team and senior business leaders to develop and implement reward and benefits strategies that align with the organisations goals and local market practices.
  • Design and implement salary structures and grading frameworks which support engagement and career development.
  • Manage and advise on compensation programs including benchmarking, benefit offerings, bonus schemes, LTIP schemes and ensure they are competitive, fair and cost effective.
  • Oversee the annual reward review processes ensuring consistency, equity and alignment with the organisations pay philosophy. Provide ongoing support to the People team through the process.
  • Management of benefits including contract management, renewal processes and promotion of benefits to employees. Ensure the offering is relevant and competitive, reflecting the needs of the business and encouraging recognition with our teams.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings across regions, adjusting strategies based on market trends and the companies strategic goals.
  • Responsible for reporting such as gender pay gap and other reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and industry standards
  • Provide guidance to People Business Partners and leaders on compensation and benefits queries and concerns.
  • Develop and deliver materials to ensure employees understand the reward and benefits offerings
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track compensation metrics, benefits utilisation and overall program effectiveness.
  • Provide support with the executive remuneration agenda and with drafting RemCo papers, presenting proposals and influencing decision making.
  • Work with the wider People team to shape solutions and systems to support approaches and to gather appropriate MI to track the delivery and performance of reward initiatives across the organisation.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making and enhance performance.
  • Motivate and guide the People team, ensuring their performance meets current and future business needs.
  • Engage with leaders and employees through visits to work sites and occasional international travel.
  • Provide accurate and insightful analytics and recommendations to the business

Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Proven success in developing and implementing compensation and benefit strategies across multiple countries in a complex organisation environment.
  • Previous experience in navigating international and global matrix environments and working closely with senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced in developing creative approaches through horizon scanning, collaboration, innovation and pragmatically shaping evolving solutions.
  • Analytical thinker with excellence decision making skills
  • Collaboration, professional credibility, and emotional intelligence to drive change.
  • Experience in data and analytics to bring new insight and impact
