Role Overview
We are a global regulatory operations team operating in over 20 countries, providing essential support to key business lines including Markets, Services, and Wealth Management. We facilitate client lifecycle transactions and deliver critical non-financial reporting to regulators. This role sits within our Regulatory Change group, which is responsible for executing regulatory change initiatives. Key focus areas include implementing new (and changes to existing) regulations, remediating issues noted by regulators and auditors, and building strategic control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Develop test modules, perform data preparation, and create comprehensive test scripts.
- Quality Assurance: Produce high-quality testing outputs that meet rigorous QA standards.
- Documentation: Accurately document testing processes, scripts, and key artifacts to memorialize the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
- Process Improvement: Troubleshoot issues, overcome testing challenges, and innovate new ways to maximize testing efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in financial services, ideally with exposure to global markets trading and investment banking operations.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of capital markets products, including cash securities, exchange-traded derivatives, and OTC derivatives.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of regulatory reporting. Familiarity with Client Money and Asset (CASS) and Depositor Protection (DP) is highly preferred. Knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR, or SFTR is also advantageous.
- Process Mapping: Proven experience collecting and documenting business and technology processes.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Education: Bachelor's/University degree is required.
