The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role focuses on ensuring integrity of financial reporting, strong governance and controls, and development of robust financial processes to support business growth.
You will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate insights, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic decision-making across the Group.
- Own the group consolidation and month‑end close process across multiple entities
- Statutory reporting
- Responsibility for stock reporting and analysis
- Maintain a robust cash management process
- Ownership of the fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
- Help support the transition of AP and Credit Control into group functions, ensuring standardisation of processes
The Person
To be considered for this role you must be a collaborative and positive Qualified Accountant preferably with experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Construction.
Experience and exposure to stock and inventory are highly desirable, and experience working in a high‑growth, multi‑entity/multi‑site environment would be an advantage.
Experience of systems and process transformation, and use of Xero and/or Sage 200 is desirable.
