Job Summary
We are seeking a Music Content Operations Specialist to define and reliably execute distribution, rights management and artist support across the business. You will need to roll your sleeves up to get things done but also have a strategic, long term view to systematize and streamline everything we do. This role is a unique opportunity to help the company's efforts in an ever-evolving, critical area. As a player-coach you will work closely with artists, technical, marketing and business teams in the day-to-day; to plan out releases and ensure they are set up, and go live seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with others to onboard new artists, and ensure release campaigns go live perfectly.
- Champion critical timelines, processes and documentation to ensure low risk and high success.
- Inform music and marketing teams regarding release plans, lead-times and due dates.
- Approve, deliver, and ensure flawless go-live for content metadata and deliverables, across DSPs and licensors.
- Plan, drive, document and manage multi-faceted operations and metadata projects.
- Manage operational relationships with distribution partners.
- Provide Artist Support that puts artists' needs first whilst adhering to critical requirements.
- Manage artist rights and UGC claims on platforms.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (legal, tax, policy, support etc) to prepare new features for launch.
- Strategize with the wider Product & Business team to optimise the best platform for Artists.
- Oversee testing and bug reviews of new features on the platform.
- Strive for continuous improvement, and boundary-pushing initiatives.
