The Role
As the new Financial Controller, you will step into a highly practical, hands on position, working closely with the CFO and wider teams across the business to maintain finance and accounting records, lead the daily, monthly and quarterly processes as well as supporting the CFO with company strategic rollout.
Duties include:
- Monthly and Quarterly Finance Oversight: Managing the entire monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
- Operational Finance: Taking ownership for plant and manufacturing operational costs including bill of materials (BOM), Inventory etc.
- Governance: Keeping a tight grip on balance sheet controls and building internal governance processes and financial policies
- Compliance: Steering the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
