Job title: Marketing & Retention Executive
Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000
Location: Chester, CH1

Contract: 12 months (Maternity cover)

My client, a well-established company with a portfolio of successful brands, is seeking a Retention Executive to join their reputable Marketing Team on a contract basis
Purpose of the Role:
To help increase repeat bookings by developing and delivering retention strategies across the company's brands. This role will focus on improving the customer journey, driving engagement and sharing insights that support better business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use customer data to identify opportunities for improving retention
- Create and run campaigns for different customer groups (e.g. new, active, lapsing, lapsed, non-bookers)
- Track campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Recommend target customer segments for direct mail, email and outbound call campaigns
- Work closely with the Client Engagement Manager to gather and share customer feedback
- Review and improve customer journeys to increase leads and conversion
- Build and manage automated email campaigns to generate leads, support sales, and build customer relationships
- Collaborate with the Digital Acquisition team to share insights that support new customer growth
- Work effectively across the marketing team and with other departments
- Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and provide a consistent customer experience
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience using customer data platforms (SCV)
- Knowledge of customer retention and lifecycle touchpoints
- Interest in customer behaviour and insights
- Background in email and digital marketing with a strong understanding of best practices and performance metrics
- Strong analytical skills and ability to measure ROI
- Experience working with external partners and cross-functional teams
