The company: A chance to join a well-known construction industry business that works closely with Tier 1 contractors in the UK. The company has seen sustained growth year-on-year and are looking to continue growing via M&A and natural growth. This is an opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant / Finance Manager to progress into a Financial Controller position and be a part of the growth with the business. Successful applicants would ideally have NetSuite experience or ERP implementation experience, CIS / Construction industry experience and be qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).

The role: As a Management Accountant / Finance Manager you will:

  • Oversee AP / AR ledgers (there is an outsourced AP team and an in-house AR function)
  • Prepare accurate management accounts packs
  • Month-end drawdowns
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • CIS returns
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Lead on project accounts - regular update meetings with PM / QS, subcontractor accounts overview, labour analysis reconciliations
  • Liaising with Commercial Contracts team on contract
