Senior Manager, Management Reporting
Reports to: Executive Director, Management Reporting
Overview: As a key member of the Management Reporting team, this role serves as the main contact between Group Management and local Finance teams. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners to manage financial reporting, planning, and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the consolidation and analysis of financial reports (monthly results, forecasts, budgets, and 5-year plans).
- Manage all reporting cycles (month-end, quarter-end, reforecasts, and budget submissions) including commentary on key variances.
- Own and communicate reporting calendars and deadlines, ensuring compliance across Opco teams.
- Prepare group-level finance reports for leadership, aligned with corporate timelines.
- Review and consolidate P&L and cash flow forecasts, highlighting key variances.
- Oversee planning for programme slates, revenue and cost forecasts, and by-title cost analysis.
- Maintain and enhance reporting templates, data structures, and supporting documentation.
- Develop and present financial insights, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in KPI reporting, leveraging SAP and other systems.
- Lead or support reporting system upgrades and efficiency projects.
- Produce ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or international equivalent, with 5-7 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong Excel skills (including modeling and pivot tables).
- Experience in multinational TV production or media preferred.
- Confident in financial reporting, analysis, dashboards, and visual storytelling.
- Solid understanding of SAP BW and financial systems.
- Familiarity with international accounting or US GAAP is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven leadership and team collaboration experience.
