Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to work for a fab company based in the Hampton area on a hybrid basis. This is a varied Management Accountant job opportunity to support the finance function and work closely with the Head of Finance. The Management Accountant can be QBE, Part Qual or Qualified and will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, revenue and financial reports and some everyday transactional finance tasks.
Salary: £47-52K
Location: Hampton – Hybrid working
Management Accountant duties:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Oversee the general ledgers, invoicing and credit control
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, cash flows, and variance analysis
- Producing financial reports, providing insights and commentary
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support with prepayments, accruals etc
Skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a similar Accountant – Management Accounting type role ideally within the not for profit, healthcare, educational, charity type sector
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
