Morgan Mckinley are looking for a Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing and highly succesful organisation in Gloucester. This is a broad role where you'll combine strong management accounting with financial analysis and business partnering.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependant on experience)
Working pattern: Mostly office based
Contract: FTC (one year and with a high chance this role will go permanent)

As Management Accountant in Gloucester, you'll join a finance team where your insight will influence decisions, improve performance and support the organisation's wider goals.

How you'll make an impact

  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Deliver clear variance analysis and commentary, highlighting risks, trends and opportunities.
  • Support budget holders through effective business partnering and practical financial guidance.
  • Strengthen financial control and ensure accounting policies and processes are followed.
  • Support year-end activities, audit requirements and regulatory reporting.
  • Improve finance processes, reporting and systems to make information more useful and efficient.
  • Use financial and operational data to provide insight and support better decision-making.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, helping colleagues understand future financial performance.

Why you're a great fit

You'll be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience as a Management Accountant and be confident using a range of systems. You must also be available at short notice (no more than a 2 week notice period)
