A highly established, owner-led US/UK Tax specialist Accounting Firm is searching for a US/UK Tax Senior Associate to join their team.
The business has recently moved into newly refurbished offices in an accessible location in London.
They are a close to 30 strong US Tax team and have achieved significant year on year growth, attracting top clients and retaining existing clients.
Your responsibilities will include
- Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Preparation and review of US and UK tax returns (Forms 1040, Form 8938, FBARs, UK Self-Assessment, etc.) for individual clients
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns, estimates, and extensions
- Prepare draft responses to the IRS, HMRC and other authorities
- Assist with research, consultations and prospective client processes
- Advise clients on tax-efficient structures
- Draft written memos relating to various tax matters
- Supervise and mentor junior tax team members, reviewing their work, and assisting with training
