Digital Marketing Executive (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

We are seeking a data-driven Digital Marketing Executive to join a leading luxury hospitality and leisure company on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is primarily remote, with expected travel to the Reading office approximately once per week and being a driver is essential.

A key focus of this role is email marketing management, so experience using an email platform (Brevo preferred) is essential. Day to day, you will be responsible for creating and delivering email campaigns across the group, developing engaging content for members, visitors, and prospects. You will also evaluate email performance, define key success metrics, and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.

You will manage the email marketing calendar, working closely with the brand team to align messaging, and support the development of improved automation journeys to deliver more personalised and targeted communications across the customer lifecycle. In addition, you will support the Marketing Manager in analysing performance across paid media, website, CRM, and email channels, producing reports and insights that inform optimisation strategies. Experience with Google Analytics and paid digital channels is highly desirable.

You will use data to help shape marketing decisions, improve ROI, and enhance the overall customer experience for both members and prospects. You will also assist with website updates and liaise with a web agency where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of email marketing campaigns across all clubs and central marketing initiatives
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on email campaign performance, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Support the development and implementation of automated email journeys and customer segmentation
  • Assist the web agency with website updates, landing page creation, and form development
  • Collaborate with sales, membership, and operations teams to support integrated marketing activity
  • Attend weekly and monthly team meetings as required
  • Analyse performance data across digital channels including Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media, and CRM systems
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on paid media performance (managed by third parties)
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback through surveys and other insight tools, ensuring a customer-first approach to communications
  • Develop monthly marketing performance scorecards tracking key KPIs
  • Support the development and evaluation of seasonal and central marketing campaigns through data-led insight

Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on analytics and insight, particularly Google Ads and web analytics
  • Experience in a prospect generation or lead-focused marketing role
  • Experience using email marketing systems (Brevo preferred, or similar platforms acceptable)
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently and effectively in a mostly remote environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics reporting and insights
  • Full UK licence with vehicle access
