As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you support external clients and help consult internal teams to exercise your working knowledge of translating commercial business models/needs into technical solutions. You help manage relationships with technical and non-technical manager level internal and external users/clients/partners/stakeholders and deliver excellent customer care to achieve project goals. You manage project outcomes and are a contributor in creating custom solutions, repeatable solution development, customer requirement gathering and mapping, and solution strategy, scoping, and development. You possess core technical skills and working knowledge of troubleshooting, systems design and integration, and our technologies and processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Help write solution code in collaboration with internal or external developers/users/partners/clients/stakeholders (as needed). Help test products/solutions for customers/partners before release through different phases (e.g., internal testing, user acceptance testing). Contribute to resolving bugs and refining product/solutions through feedback collection and iteration. Help launch products/solutions to customers/partners after getting approval from stakeholders. Contribute to maintenance of services and manage products/solution security as appropriate.
- Help leverage, customize, or develop solutions based on defined customer/partner business objectives and technical requirements. Contribute to discussions with internal teams and users/clients/partners/stakeholders to define solution constraints and scope. Help articulate the value of solutions through design sessions with the customer/partner. Contribute to architecture design with product teams for solution development.
- Help scale existing or create repeatable solutions (e.g., best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code) and ensure effective documentation of repeatable solutions with minimal guidance.
- Verify the functionality of a new developer product feature and provide meaningful feedback to product/engineering teams that result in improvements to the developer experience.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in their respective process lifecycle to provide technical guidance or identify possible existing or new technical solution offerings to help shape outcomes with minimal guidance. Contribute to managing and balancing escalations to and from stakeholders.
- Create product requirement documents (PRDs) to record product specifications, validate PRDs to ensure customer/partner and internal needs are met, with limited guidance.
- Help define problems at the system level or from a broader perspective and design a workable solution. Basic understanding of how factors or components in a system interrelate. Help define the appropriate components at scale, application programming interfaces (APIs), and data for a given system to meet specific requirements of the user and the ability to validate the system correctness and functionality.
- Troubleshoot defined technical issues throughout solution delivery and deployment by generating and analyzing relevant data, proposing fixes, and validating solutions. Escalate or triage issues to other teams (e.g., engineering, legal) as appropriate. Coordinate with other teams to ensure the issues are resolved in a timely manner and help identify patterns to mitigate risks in the future.
- Help to build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in customer and/or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services. Contribute to advising users/clients/partners/stakeholders on best practices to optimize their use of technology to support their business processes. Help enhance customer/partner relationships and seek out new customer/partner opportunities through consultation and engagement.
- Help define long-term technical solution strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams and influence the direction and priority of technical product features and/or the solution.
