Our client, a large financial services business is hiring for an Events Executive to support the planning and delivery of a wide range of corporate events and marketing initiatives across domestic and international markets. This role will play a key part in executing high-quality in-person and virtual events, supporting brand visibility, and engaging key audiences through conferences, sponsorships, and corporate initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to event delivery end-to-end, including logistics, campaign support, stakeholder coordination, and post-event analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver events and conferences (in-person and virtual), ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Evaluate event performance through feedback, reporting, and data analysis; identify insights and improvements for future activity.
  • Manage event budgets, including multi-currency tracking, invoice processing, and cost control.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all event materials and communications.
  • Source and procure event materials, merchandise, and promotional items as required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, venues, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop event invitations, communications, and branded assets.
  • Manage guest lists, RSVPs, and client data in compliance with GDPR and data privacy standards.
  • Research venues, event concepts, and industry best practices to enhance event delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at events when required.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the wider events and marketing team.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience using event management and marketing tools (e.g., Cvent or similar platforms, CRM systems, email marketing tools).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience managing budgets, negotiating with suppliers, and meeting deadlines.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in corporate event management or a similar role.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and event delivery, including occasional evenings and weekends.
