A leading financial services organisation is looking for an experienced HR professional to join its HR & Training function in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic HR business partnering with hands-on employee relations work in a fast-paced corporate environment. The role will partner closely with senior leaders across front, middle, and back office functions, supporting organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and change initiatives. Alongside this, the successful candidate will manage a wide range of complex employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases, restructures, and consultations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on people strategy and organisational matters
  • Supporting recruitment and workforce planning initiatives
  • Managing complex ER casework end-to-end
  • Advising managers on UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Supporting performance, reward, and development processes
  • Leading investigations and producing detailed reports with recommendations
  • Supporting change and restructuring programmes across the business

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations experience
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law
  • Experience within financial services or professional services environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to manage sensitive and high-risk cases confidently
