We're looking for a Creative WebGL Developer to help shape and build immersive, high-end interactive experiences for global campaign work in the travel and tourism space. This is a craft-led role for a developer who cares as much about visual quality, motion and storytelling as they do about clean, performant code. You'll be taking beautifully designed concepts and bringing them to life through real-time 3D and interaction-rich web experiences. You'll work closely with producers and designers to deliver standout digital work, the kind that blends design, animation and engineering into one seamless experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Building immersive WebGL experiences using Three.js/React Three Fiber
- Translating creative concepts and Figma designs into production-ready builds
- Designing and developing scroll-driven narratives and interactive storytelling systems
- Working with GSAP (incl. ScrollTrigger) to bring motion and transitions to life
- Integrating and optimising 3D assets
- Crafting smooth, performant experiences across desktop and mobile
- Owning end-to-end delivery on individual campaign builds as the sole developer
Tech & creative stack:
- WebGL (essential)
- Three.js/React Three Fiber
- React/Next.js or AstroJS
- GSAP/ScrollTrigger
- Blender workflows (GLB / glTF)
- GLSL/shader experience (bonus)
What we're looking for:
- Strong frontend developer, with deep WebGL experience
- Proven track record building interactive 3D/real-time web experiences
- Strong eye for detail, you understand how design should feel, not just function
- Comfortable working independently and owning full builds end-to-end
- Experience in fast-paced creative or studio environments (agency, production studio or similar)
- Someone who enjoys experimentation, motion and pushing what's possible in the browser
Nice to have:
- Shader / GLSL experience
- Motion design or animation background
- Experimental or portfolio-driven creative work
- Experience in campaign, microsite, or branded digital work
- Studio or agency background working alongside designers and creatives
Please note: This is a fully remote (candidates must be UK based) role with project-based delivery, across a 12 month engagement, typically working on 1-2 week turnaround campaign builds focused on single-page or small multi-page immersive experiences, within fast-moving creative cycles supported by feedback from internal teams. This is a studio-style build environment. You'll be trusted to take ideas and turn them into polished, interactive digital experiences that stand out globally.
