Responsibilities for the Credit Analyst includes:
- Assess the financial strength and creditworthiness of existing and prospective customers, reviewing financial statements, cash flow, profitability and trading performance.
- Analyse credit risk and make recommendations on appropriate credit limits and terms, ensuring decisions align with the credit policy.
- Monitor member accounts and financial performance, identifying emerging risks, changes in trading conditions and potential warning signs.
- Work closely with credit control and wider business stakeholders to investigate higher‑risk accounts, support escalations and agree appropriate actions.
- Prepare clear credit assessments and reports, maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities to improve credit assessment processes and controls.
Profile
- Previous experience in credit analysis, credit risk assessment or a similar financial role.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance.
- Good systems and Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
