My client is a highly successful, £10 million turnover business based in Northampton. They are a product-led organisation that develops and maintains mission-critical platforms central to their clients' daily operations. My client is currently looking for a Junior Developer with 1–2 years of commercial experience who is eager to take on more responsibility and move beyond basic maintenance tasks.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the IT Director, the successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle. This includes the design, coding, and testing of core platforms, mobile applications, and customer portals within an Agile/Scrum environment.
The Technical Stack
The team works with a modern Microsoft-based stack, and they are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in the following:
- Back-End: C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and .NET Core.
- Data: SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Version Control: Professional experience using Git.
