Job Description
A leading Big 4 Accounting Practice are recruiting for an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager to join their team in Central London.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading Indirect Tax team providing advisory, operational and compliance services to the firm' largest and most important clients. The role will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
As an Assistant Manager you will:
- Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Being involved in the financial management of clients
- Developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Working in multidisciplinary Indirect Tax teams (e.g. with customs, legal and systems specialists)
- Assisting in the management and delivering of large projects
- Contributing to the development of your own and the team's technical acumen
- Training, coaching, and supervising staff
- Keeping up to date with legislation and practical changes which impact indirect taxes
- Continuing to develop internal relationships and your brand
Your Experience:
- Strong VAT technical and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, written and oral
